Woo! We’re back for the second “date” between Puff and Heechul on We Got Married Global. A big milestone is achieved as well, so hold on tight!
Puff and Heechul meet up at a small café, and Puff has adorably brought her cuckoo/owl stuffed animal that Heechul gave her last episode. She bashfully admits to sleeping with the stuffed animal, and Heechul picks it up to smell it. HAHA. Puff is embarrassed, and calls him a “色狼” (sè láng), or pervert. Heechul doesn’t understand of course, so Puff draws out a wolf (狼 means wolf). I don’t think she was able to fully explain the term though, because Heechul seems rather pleased with being called a “wolf” of sorts haha.
The two receive their mission card: to move to their new Love House together! Hence, Puff and Heechul meet up a few days later to reveal their house! At one point Puff and Heechul ring the doorbell, only to find that the door was unlocked the entire time. 🙂
The two explore inside their house, Puff points out the giant felt heart board on their wall and Heechul seems excited for the rec games. He challenges Puff to a game of darts, but quickly uses his Mandarin conversation book to say that he’s not feeling well today because he’s sick. Pffft. He manages to score an 11…..and Puff narrowly beats him with a score of 12!
They decide to explore the rest of the house, and head over to the bedroom. Right before they walk in, Puff makes a request. She wants Heechul to carry her over the threshold, bridal side. Aww….. it’s a cute moment, at least until he gets past the door where he drops Puff.
It appears as though Heechul really likes the style of the bed (he mentions the pole frame and jokes about pole dancing). He immediately rolls onto the bed, and tells Puff to come sleep on the bed as well. Oh Heechul…. Puff doesn’t look quite that comfortable though, and pulls her arm away when Heechul tries to use it as a pillow.
The two return to their living room to unpack their luggage. Heechul tells Puff that he’ll grab the suitcases if she moves the coffee table, and Puff says okay before quickly grabbing her notebook to ask him to help her move it. HA. Then she tells Heechul to quickly get the lugage haha. He’s taken aback by the random korean phrases she’s spouting, and wonders how she knows all of them.
The first think Puff pulls out of her suitcase is a Dreamgirls album that has been signed by all the members. Heechul decides to have a bit of fun and covers up Puff on the album while pointing to the other two girls and calling them pretty, so Puff pulls out a special photobook to show him that she’s just as pretty. Heechul pulls out his “ex-girlfriend” who is also “pretty” – it’s a stuffed body pillow with an anime character on the front.
Puff teaches Heechul the dance to one of Dreamgirls’s new songs, and they actually manage to do a pretty decent job. Of course, a celebratory hug is in order. 🙂
Puff also gives Heechul a letter written by her bandmate Emily, who is Korean. Emily wrote a very sweet letter describing Puff to Heechul, and wished the two lots of luck and happiness. Heechul, of course, couldn’t resist a joke and pretended to tear up, leading Puff to wonder what exactly did Emily write to make it sad.
The pair then decide to write their wish lists (every couple does this on WGM) to do together, and when the moment comes to switch boards and read what the other wrote…. neither of them can understand hahaha.
A desperate Heechul calls up a mystery friend to come and help, suggesting that this friend is comfortable in Chinese and well as Korean. Maybe someone from Super Junior M?
To kill time before the friend arrives, and sat Heechul’s hunger, the two go grocery shopping. Puff has prepared a Taiwanese recipe to make for Heechul, and through limited English and miming they seem to be finding all the ingredients. At one point Heechul picks up some grilled pork and pretends to feed it to Puff before stuffing it in his mouth. After he does it again, Puff grabs her chance for revenge at the grilled beef station.
Another funny moment occurs when the two walk by the clothing section, and the underwear sales lady tries to sell them couples underwear. HA. The two quickly leave with some awkward bowing, and head home for dinner! As they bicker about cooking first or resting first, the doorbell rings!
Dun Dun DUN. Who could it be?
The two are so happy and jokey together it’s great! The language barrier does seem to be an issue at time (see wishlists above), but that’s part of the fun and for the most part they’re getting better. Puff’s been learning more and more korean phrases, and it’s amusing to see Heechul surprised when she uses them. Let the cuteness continue!
